4 Detox Tea Recipes for Digestion, Immunity & Stress Relief

Detoxification is an important part of maintaining good health. It helps rid your body of toxins and waste products that build up over time. The best way to cleanse your body is through diet and exercise, but sometimes these methods aren’t enough. So where can you look for that extra boost? Here are a few delicious tea "boosters."


Ginger Lemonade


Okay, it's not techically a tea- we get it! But if you’re looking for a quick and easy way to detoxify your body, try making ginger lemonade. This recipe combines two powerful ingredients that work together to promote healthy digestion and immunity.


Turmeric Latte


To make turmeric latte, combine 1 teaspoon ground turmeric with 2 cups water and ½ cup milk. Bring mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until liquid reduces by half. Add honey and cinnamon to taste. Serve hot. Tastes great, and turmeric is a great fighter for all of your body's systems. Add some black pepper for greater effect- just work in small amounts to keep the taste great.


Matcha Latte


Matcha tea is one of the oldest known remedies for digestive issues. Watch out for the caffeine rush! And also, watch out for the better energy levels, happy weight loss...


Chai Latte


This recipe combines two of my favorite things – chai tea and lattes! I love drinking chai tea with milk and sugar, so why not make it into a latte? You can use any type of milk you prefer, but I recommend almond milk because it’s high in protein and low in fat.
